On December 3, 2015, several members of the St. Louis Chapter of IFCB\u00a0traveled to Cairo, Illinois at the request of the Supertindent of Schools. She\u00a0had witnessed the community outreach that was done in the fall of 2014 by\u00a0IFCB, where many of the children received book bags, bikes and other\u00a0items needed for a successful school year.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this all school assembly was to share Christian business\u00a0principles through the sharing of testimonies by IFCB members. Their were\u00a02 groups that were addressed. One was 9th and 10th grade students and\u00a0the other was 11th and 12th grades.<\/p>\n

The assembly began with the music of \u201cMynista\u201d, a christian rap artist who\u00a0also shared his powerful testimony with the kids. He was followed by\u00a0several IFCB speakers who shared with the students their experiences as\u00a0an executive in corporate life, working as a captain in the Fire Department\u00a0and an Entrepreneur who shared the challenges of running a successful\u00a0small business.<\/p>\n

The students were engaged and appreciative of all who shared their\u00a0christian testimonies and how it helped them be successful in their personal\u00a0and professional lives.<\/p>\n

It was a true blessing to share Jesus and how he can help in both\u00a0business and education and sharing the challenges of business and\u00a0careers and understanding that success can follow anyone if we just follow\u00a0the Master.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
