Inner City Outreach (ICO) Cape Girardeau, MO, ICO has been mod to Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the request of the pastor of the church (Gateway Church, downtown Cape), with whom we are working. Workers need to arrive at the church parking lot, behind the church, at 10:00 AM for setup and food prep. The outreach people will arrive just before 12:00 noon to eat. At 12:45 PM, we give every person a numbered ticket and at 1:00 PM start giving prizes away by calling off ticket numbers. By 2:00 PM we will be offering Salvation of Jesus Christ to the guests. We need workers to work the crowd (get to know them, pray with them, etc.) serve food, help hand out numbered tickets, give salvation cards out to those who accept Christ as Savior, then load up supplies to go home. Transportation will be provided for those who don’t care to drive. Van will be leaving St. Louis area at 8:00 AM from designated area. Dress casual and special T-shirts are available for all workers.
