Hello everyone,
The Epic Empowerment Open House is this Saturday! I am attaching a flyer which gives you much of the information and activities for this event. Thank you to those of you that have signed up to staff the refreshment stand and prayer for guests to receive Christ or an answer to prayer! If you haven’t signed up yet, please feel free to do so now.
This Epic Fun Fest is an opportunity to introduce Epic Empowerment to the community. Mark Mobeius wants this building to be a community center to the Christian community. IFCB is already benefiting from the use of the building and will do so in the future. The West County Chapter is planning to remain at the Research Park Inn for the monthly chapter meetings.
Some of the volunteers will arrive at Noon to set up the tents, tables, chairs and BBQ. The other volunteers can start serving between 2 PM and 5 PM, or help with the take down and clean up at 5 PM. Please wear any of the IFCB shirts that you may already have and bring a lawn chair for your comfort. We don’t know how many people will attend this event but we are planning for 200. If we run out of food before 5 PM, we will shut down sooner. Our refreshment stand will be at the front corner of the building on the parking lot so anyone who visits will see us. The more workers we have, the more fun for us as we can visit with each other during this event!
To sign up to volunteer, please email Chuck Lytton at CLYTTON@IFCB.ORG or if you have questions call Chuck at 314-486-3563.
I want to give special thanks to Jim Goulding who has spent most days since the start of July, working on the building, getting the water features functioning again, building the wedding gazebo, cleaning and so much more! He and Mark Mobeius have achieved much progress with the building is a short amount of time.
Have a blessed day and we look forward to seeing you Saturday!
Chuck Lytton
Chairman of the Board
