Gene growing up close to his grandparents, Rev and Mrs. R. E. Leadingham, Gene witnessed Powerful Tent Meetings of the 50’s. These meetings were all part of God’s plan in molding Gene’s future!
Since the late 60’s Gene has continued traveling in ministry from the back country of the Appalachian mountain regions to metropolitan cities across the nation and around the world! Traveling from the Islands of the sea to the African bushes and many countries between! “Whether on street corners at home, or the mission fields around the world, I believe the Gospel must be preached with power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit.”
Gene has been active at Prayer Mountain and continued with being in touch with the ministry of Sister Billye Brim and her World Wide pray-er’s
Gene served on the Board of Directors at UCCMA, a strong ministry founded by the late H Richard Hall of Cleveland, Tenn. Gene was also close friends and acquaintance with Dr. Norvel Hayes and his ministries. Gene also taught at Brother Norvel’s Bible College in Cleveland, Tenn.
Gene and his wife of 53 years have 4 adult children, 3 daughters, 1 son and 10 grandchildren.
